Welcome to
The Budgeting Mum!
If you are looking for money saving tips, hacks to make affordable travel easy, help with mastering DIY on a budget and plenty of bargains, you’re in the right place!
Hi, I’m Beth, aka the Budgeting Mum!
Alongside me is my husband and our two young children and we call The Midlands our home.
Like many families, we have felt the financial pinch since becoming parents. I previously worked in the NHS as a Phlebotomist, a job I loved but couldn’t continue after having children due to the high cost of childcare costs which were not sustainable for us as a family. I became passionately creative about finding ways we could save money whilst still providing our children with the life we had dreamed for them.
In July 2022 I began sharing my tips and tricks on social media. They quickly gained traction among other parents in similar situations all looking for ways to do life on a budget - and The Budgeting Mum was born!
The popularity of The Budgeting Mum grew, especially during the Cost of Living crisis, and I quickly realised how vital it was to help people in the same boat, looking for ways to save money as a family.
One thing I'm incredibly passionate about is affordable family travel and truly believe that you can explore the world with children in tow, no matter your budget.
So, if you’re tightening your purse strings, looking for money-saving advice for families and bargain deals, follow along for more!
